This unique platform provides in-depth analysis and systemic responses to enhance public financial management, fiscal space and domestic public resource mobilization, leverage additional private investments, and harness an array of innovative solutions to place Arab economies on a sustained trajectory towards financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through the Arab Financing for Development Gateway, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) strives to support policymakers and national stakeholders by offering a range of dynamic and interactive tools to assist in the design of integrated financing strategies, support the transition to SDG-centric financing, and advance the implementation of national sustainable development strategies, plans and macroeconomic frameworks.
