Establishing an ecosystem for systemic SDG financing in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The INFF process is an essential contribution to fostering dialogue at national and sub-national levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through its INFF, the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina aims to strengthen informed and targeted public investment and to mobilise additional financing for sustainable development, particularly from the private sector.

Activities under the INFF include: (a) conducting a development finance assessment across different government levels for a disaggregated perspective; (b) undertaking a gender-responsive public expenditure review to assess current and planned allocations for the SDGs; (c) estimating the costs of implementing the SDG framework and reviewing the financing instruments currently in place; and (d) elaborating an SDG financing framework to provide a long-term strategic direction to national partners.
