Building upon the current wave of reforms triggered by the “velvet revolution” in 2018, the Government of Armenia is using the INFF process to identify and implement innovative and evidence-driven mechanisms to channel partnerships and finance towards three priority areas: climate change, food security and human capital.
Armenia’s INFF aims to strengthen the financing architecture for the effective implementation of the Armenian Transformation Strategy and sectoral strategies. The government is focused on increasing its understanding of national financing needs and channelling resources towards sectors that benefit vulnerable groups, including women. Investments in these sectors will have positive knock-on effects, promoting sustainable development across all dimensions of the 2030 Agenda.
