INFF will support the improvement of public finances in Guatemala, by enabling the medium-term sustainable financing of the Great National Crusade for Nutrition (GCNN), the government’s national strategy to combat chronic malnutrition announced in early 2020. The strategy targets three main populations: (1) children under 5 years of age; (2) women and girls; and (3) rural and indigenous peoples living in poverty and extreme poverty.
INFF will help determine the cost of the GCNN, identify the GCNN's financing gap in relation to the timeframe of the Food and Security Strategic Plan; and develop solutions for mobilising public and private financial resources and establishing partnerships for financing.
