Africa regional training presentation: Next steps

In August 2021, UNECA, UNDP, UNDESA and UNITAR hosted an online knowledge exchange and learning workshop for African countries. This presentation provides an overview of the next steps for supporting INFF processes in Africa.

UNDP Africa Finance Sector Hub collaborated with UNDESA, UNITAR, UNECA in organizing the INFF regional training event from August 24 to 26. High-level country representatives from Gabon, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Cabo Verde shared their experience and good practices on the implementation of INFF in their own countries at both national and local levels. The event attracted 685 participants from 62 countries across the globe. This included participants from governments, development cooperation agencies, private sector, universities/think tanks, CSO and UN entities.

Orria Goni, from the UNDP Africa Finance Sector Hub, closed the event by providing an overview of the ways INFF partners will continue to support INFF development at the regional and country level.
