The 2023 ECOSOC Financing for Development Forum is just around the corner. 17 - 20 April 2023, UN Member States will gather in New York to discuss the most pressing issues facing financing for development.
Against the backdrop of a deeply disconcerting global economic outlook, insufficient financing remains one of the greatest bottlenecks to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Trillions of dollars are needed annually to bridge the SDG financing gap in developing countries.
Much is at stake. The FfD Forum is an important opportunity to promote convergence around a common sustainable finance agenda and to strengthen the partnerships needed to close the SDG financing gap.
The INFF Facility and government representatives of countries developing INFFs will participate in several events over the course of the forum to raise awareness, share lessons and exchange best practices. We hope you’ll join us either in person or virtually.
