Purpose of the event
The side event on Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs) on the margins of the FfD4 regional consultation provides an opportunity for African countries and partners to explore the potential of INFFs in mobilizing and managing financing for sustainable development. As the pioneer continent in implementing INFFs, Africa leads with the highest number of countries developing and refining these frameworks to align with national priorities like poverty reduction, climate action, and gender equality.
Objectives
The event aims to:
- Share experiences from countries like Zambia and Burkina Faso on the implementation of INFFs.
- Discuss the challenges and successes in developing and iimplementing INFFs.
- Outline the next steps and strategic opportunities for enhancing INFF effectiveness, especially ahead of the 2025 Financing for Development Conference.
